Taking a Seat in Nature

For many of us, the Summer months are an invitation to go outside. The cold days of winter have ended and we begin to come together with our friends and families for barbecues, cookouts and celebrations of all kinds. The Summer is also a great time to get back into the woods and back to nature. When we connect with nature, whether through hiking, hunting, fishing, camping or any other sort of wilderness sports or activities, we get the gift of feeling calm and engaged simultaneously. We get a respite from our busy lives. At Everywhere Chair we are happy to know that the products that we sell are helping people to live healthier and happier lives. Numerous studies have shown the benefits of spending time out in the woods, and nature, in general.

“Nature is fuel for the soul,” says psychology professor, Richard Ryan. “Often when we feel depleted we reach for a cup of coffee, but research suggests a better way to get energized is to connect with nature.” When we get out in the woods, we feel good! …but if you’re out in the woods for a couple days or on a weekend beach trip with the family, you might need somewhere to plop down. That’s where we come in!

When you’re out in the woods and need a chair for a camping trip or a seat for a canoe, we’ve got it all. We take pride in giving our customers not only the gift of comfort and fun, but also know that we help towards people engaging their passions and hobbies, all while getting healthy by helping people to get outside! This summer if you shop with us you can get that canoe seat to help you feel comfortable when you’re out on the lake. May we recommend the Sitbacker Canoe Seat by GCI Outdoor [pictured below: left]? It has a 5-star rating on our website. Or if canoeing isn’t your cup of tea, you could try a beach chair for lounging around when you go to the ocean or lake with your family. The Kelsyus Premium Backpack Canopy Chair [pictured below: right] is a great way to keep you at the beach while you get to stay in the shade the whole time. No umbrellas necessary!

Numerous scientific studies have shown the health benefits of spending time outside in nature, linking the benefits of being in the woods to things as diverse as heart rate, vision and even happiness. So please, include us in your happiness and health by seeing what we have to offer for the summer season. You won’t be disappointed!
