At our shop, located in western North Carolina, we offer two distinct services that can be used to customize your chair: imprinting and embroidery. We have done custom work from everyone to the Washington Capitals to Ozzy Osbourne, not to mention just regular everyday people who contact us for our services. Both of the processes offer high-quality results in terms of chair design but each possesses its own respective strengths and weaknesses. Here we will describe them, so that you know what service is best for what you want:

Imprinting is a process that involves using a hot press to apply vinyl onto canvas. The text is die cut from urethane vinyl and then heat is applied to canvas to give the work a sleek and clean look. Our imprinting selection includes our own director’s chair covers, as well as other chairs that we carry in stock. With imprinting you can create high end designs with shading and gradients that might not be attainable through embroidery. With digital precision, an image file of your choice is printed onto vinyl and then pressed onto the chair. We also offer a selection of various pre-made designs from our own cache of designs. Imprinting is the best option we offer if you are trying to recreate a very detailed logo for your business, sports club or family gathering.

Embroidery is a process by which thread (single or multi-color) is stitched into your product of choice. Most people know of embroidered golf shirts or hats for sports teams, but we specialize in director’s chair covers, while still offering embroidery service on a few models of high-quality chairs Think of the classic image of the Hollywood studio with the director sitting in a chair with his name on it. With embroidery you can create a very professional, classy look which will last longer than the inks used in imprinting. Occasionally, a logo may have to be altered if embroidery is used because it is very difficult to recreate certain kinds of shading and exact color schemes using threads. Sometimes small text is difficult to sew using embroidery due to the limitations of needle and threads. Embroidery is a little more expensive than imprinting. Embroidery machines have been developed with multiple heads that will allow you to embroider 2, 4, 6 or even 10 pieces at a time saving on costs to set up each logo which is passed along to the customer! Embroidery pricing is usually determined by the number of stitches in the customer’s logo and the number of pieces being embroidered.

We offer director’s covers as a standalone product (for those who have their own chairs at home), as well as selling some of the best Gold Medal and Telescope brand Director’s Chairs. Just make sure to do your measurements if you have a chair of your own at home, because there is no standard sized director’s chair. You can use our guide to measurement to help you be certain that you get the right sized director’s covers for your chairs. Be sure to contact us if you have any questions on our products or services.
